Over seven years of First Lego League experience, we have discovered that the four foot by eight foot “table” is great for FLL, but quite hard to use in the classroom. To overcome this problem, we have developed the BOT-BOX, a lightweight, versatile teaching tool for NXT and RCX robots.

We will add to this page the building plan, photos of the BOT-BOX in use, and some observations on how to move from the “game table” to the classroom.

If you have large areas of available space, enjoy lifting and moving the game table, or never take your robots on a “road trip”, PLEASE DISREGARD! Feel free to use any of these ideas in your program, and, if you think of significant improvements, send them to us for publication.
